FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS...

HT Steel was started by Tom Haddock over 35 years ago in an office trailer with rented yard space where Tom fabricated structural steel outside in the heat of the summer, below freezing temperatures in winter and rain, snow or shine. Through hard work and dedication, HT Steel moved to its own 20,000 square foot facility in Farmingdale, NY in 1996.

HT Steel, Inc., has been fabricating and erecting structural steel for over three decades. Our experience and knowledge has given us the capacity to handle all facets of structural steel construction. From humble beginnings to our present facility, our success has been the people behind us. The entire staff at HT Steel, Inc. is dedicated to each and every project and looks forward to successfully guiding you through to completion.

THOMAS HADDOCK

President

Tom Haddock is the original owner and President of HT Steel Inc. From humble beginnings in Huntington, NY where he learned to weld to building a full-service steel shop in Farmingdale, NY, Tom is a leader in the steel industry. He is responsible for training, scheduling and supervision of employees and implementing and enforcing a strict OSHE safety program. Tom is also personally responsible for the maintenance and safety inspections of our trucks, trailers and equipment.

DAVE ECKERT

Senior Project Manager

Dave has over 30 years experience in managing multi-million dollar steel projects, including organizing and coordinating projects to meet competitive timetables and managing project scopes, changes, schedules and budgets. Dave is responsible for training, scheduling and supervision of employees and implementing and enforcing a strict OSHE safety program. He is also responsible for preparing and negotiating estimates and coordinating, negotiating and approving purchase orders with sub contractors and vendors.

CATHERINE ECKERT

Office Manager

Cathy is responsible for all aspects regarding the day to day operations in and about the office of HT Steel. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to, all forms of insurance, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and correspondence.
